We’re thrilled to see the Primary Care Investment Act (S1634/A1915A) included in the Senate Budget today! Thanks to Health Chair Senator Gustavo Rivera, Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and the Senate Democratic Conference for their strong support for primary care, and thank you to Health Chair Assembly Member Amy Paulin for co-sponsoring this bill in the Assembly.?We urge both houses of the legislature and the Governor’s office to include the Primary Care Investment Act in the final budget to help build healthier communities across New York State and help ensure that everyone in the state can get the care they need, when they need it.

Last week at the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) Policy & Issues Forum in Washington, D.C., Ryan Health and 2,200 CHC advocates engaged with over 300 offices in Congress to address the critical challenges facing Community Health Centers (CHC) nationwide. These centers serve 32.5 million patients while navigating funding uncertainties. NACHC continues to actively inform CHCs and the national media about the essential role these centers play in America's healthcare system. With the aim of securing long-term health center funding by March 31, we urge lawmakers to pass legislation before March 15 to fund the government.
