Based in Austin, Texas, Ryan Street Architects has served select residential and commercial clients since 2001, designing celebrated spaces that span from the chiseled landscapes of the Hill Country to the intimate courtyards of coastal Spain.   • It's finally fireplace season in Austin! In a recent AD It Yourself article, “81 Fireplace Ideas That Make a Statement and Dress Up Any Room” our Austin Hacienda project made the list. The fireplace in this ranch-style home features a steel surround with a matte finish creating a moody, atmospheric backdrop. “The idea was to create a centerpiece that highlights the room’s balance of contemporary and organic materials,” says Ryan Street.   • We are so incredibly honored to share our Austin Estate project has been awarded ‘Exceptional Global Residential Project of the Year’ in the 2024 Homes & Gardens Design Awards.   • @HouseBeautiful?recently shared “12 Color Schemes That Are Popping Off Right Now, According to Designers” and our Lead Interior Designer, Jennifer Sissom, shared her thoughts- “We tend to gravitate toward neutral, calming color schemes, especially in spaces like bedrooms and bathrooms. To add interest, we’ll bring in layers and patterns in both neutral tones and corresponding colors,” says Jennifer. “In order to land on the perfect tone, we often sample paint colors at different percentages of saturation.
