关于我们
The mission of the Ryan Nece Foundation is to create opportunities for teens to embrace the Power of Giving through volunteerism and inspirational leadership programs. Our vision is to empower teens to become leaders and impact giving in their communities. To former NFL linebacker Ryan Nece, giving has always been a part of his daily life. Since he was a child, his family instilled in him the importance of thinking of others and giving what you can when you can in order to have a positive impact on those around you. Upon joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2002, Ryan participated in many community events and supported various charitable organizations on behalf of the team. Eventually, he formed the Ryan Nece Foundation in September 2006 as a way for Ryan to formalize his own charitable contributions to the community.

Another rewarding day volunteering with The Ryan Nece Foundation! Today took me to my Alma Mater, C. Leon King High School, where I got to share my career journey and wisdom with high school students ranging from 9th to 12th grade. Thank you to Daphne Miles from the Foundation for being such a thoughtful moderator, Janis Hachiya for having such engaged and thoughtful students and Lalita Llerena for being my co-panelist and walking down memory lane together about our days roaming the halls at King in the International Baccalaureate program! #powerofgiving

Thanks to Melissa Neeley & the Ryan Nece Foundation, I had a #FullCircle opportunity to serve on a career panel at my alma mater, King High School today. Coming back on campus to share my experiences with students who are walking the same halls I once did was both nostalgic & inspiring. What made the day even more meaningful was sitting alongside a fellow King International Baccalaureate (IB) & University of Florida alum Jacqueline Simms-Petredis. Her journey as a successful lawyer following her legendary father's footsteps fascinated me (and the students) to no end. A huge thank you to Daphne Miles for leading such a thought-provoking discussion and to Janis Hachiya for coordinating #AVID and collaborating with the Ryan Nece Foundation. Your compassionate leadership is clearly shaping students’ futures. The unlimited potential I saw in those young eyes today gave me hope for the future. ?? So humbly honored to represent Tampa Electric & give back to the school that helped shape who I am today. Go Lions?? & Go Gators??

Reflecting on an awesome day of service with Community Tampa Bay and the Ryan Nece Foundation! I got to pack potatoes at Feeding Tampa Bay with high schoolers making a difference in their communities!
On Valentine’s Day, we teamed up with the Ryan Nece Foundation and brought together over 200 high school students from across the Tampa Bay Area for the 5th annual Youth Service Leadership Summit. We engaged in a morning of community service and joined together at Feeding Tampa Bay for an afternoon of leadership activities! Thanks to our sponsor Suncoast Credit Union and our inspiring keynote address from Rachel Bender! We can’t for next year! #AHeartforOthers
