Among the more than 48,000 organizations surveyed by CHIME, RWJBarnabas Health ranked above peers in categories like analytics and data management, population health, infrastructure, and patient engagement. The survey assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in healthcare organizations at all stages of development, from early development to industry leading. Clara Maass Medical Center, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Jersey City Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset earned Performance Excellence Level of 10, the highest level of recognition, in the Acute category. Performance Excellence Level 9 in the Acute category was achieved by Trinitas Regional Medical Center. The RWJBarnabas Health Ambulatory Care Center and RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group scored a Level 9 designation in the Ambulatory category. Trinitas Regional Medical Center also received special recognition for having the most improved score overall.
