We have some exciting news to share! As many know, we purchased the land at the corner of Military and Main with the intent to build a new downtown branch. Well, we are getting closer to making that a reality and anticipate breaking ground on that new branch in the Spring of 2025. ? We have already begun the site prep for our branch as well as the new home of the City of Fremont Police Headquarters and 911 Communications Center.? We plan to build a 3,800 square foot branch which will be a full-service depository branch with drive-thru services, ATM access and a community meeting room. ? We expect to complete the new building by early 2026.? Once completed, the current Downtown branch will be relocated to the new space.? ? We have partnered with the La Macchia Group to design and build the new branch. The La Macchia Group is a nationally recognized design and build firm that specializes in creating unique designs with one-of-a-kind technology integration?for the financial services industry.? ? As a locally-owned, community bank, our Board of Directors is excited about this opportunity to relocate our downtown branch to a more visible and accessible location. This move reaffirms our dedication to serving Fremont and the downtown community.? We are also thrilled to work with the City on their plans to build a police station and 911 communications center to the north of our branch and know that both project designs will contribute to the vibrancy and well-being of our city. Today might be the last day of Community Banking Month but we celebrate our communities all year long! In 2023, every single RVR Bank employee made a pledge to the Fremont United Way Workplace Campaign. With the match from our Board of Directors, our team had an overall contribution of over $51,000! This campaign provides education, financial stability and health services in the Dodge and Washington Counties in Nebraska. #CommunityBankingMonth

As Nelson Mandela once said, "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world." At this community bank, we admire the local high school graduates seeking to further their education! Did you know RVR Bank annually gives out $9,000 in scholarships? These are rewarded to 12 outstanding individuals in the Fremont, Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun communities.

Today and every Friday at 8:30 a.m., local businesses and non-profits join us on our Big Dog 98.9/1340?DJ for a Day radio show to share their latest news about their business. We find that this is an amazing way to help our local businesses promote themselves and have been doing this now for over 20 years. As we continue to celebrate Community Banking Month, we wanted to give a BIG shoutout to our front-line staff. In one year, RVR Bank's front-line staff stopped $953,000 in fraud! This includes checks deposited through mobile banking, customers attempting to cash checks and accounts attempted to be opened using a fraudulent check. Way to go team! #CommunityBankingMonth

Did you know RVR Bank has four Bank in School programs? We partner with four local schools to provide elementary students the opportunity to not only learn how banks operate, but to become savers themselves and hopefully cultivate a love of the industry and start some early years recruiting! Last summer we started a new tradition called RVR Week of Service. During one week in June, the RVR Bank team and family members donated?223 HOURS of community service to 13 non-profits! Our colleagues volunteered to scrape fences at the fairgrounds, clean up local parks, paint a new home, prepared meals, sold fireworks, plus so many more activities.
