Two RVR Bank officer promotions were approved at the recent annual meeting of the RVR Bank Board of Directors.??Jessica Fickbohm?was promoted to Vice President – Business Development and?Melissa Hapke?to Vice President – Trust Officer.? ? Jessica?Fickbohm joined RVR Bank in 2015 as a Business/Retail Relationship Consultant. In 2019, Fickbohm was promoted to Assistant Vice President-Business Development. She has spent her career with the bank working to enhance efforts to attract, maintain, and develop strong client relationships. She also works closely with the Marketing team on community engagement and marketing efforts. ? Jessica is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies.? She is an honors graduate of Leadership Fremont, the U.S. Chamber Institute for Organization Management, the NBA/KBA Relationship & Business Development School and the bank’s Employee Leadership Development Program.? She also serves on the Board of Directors as President of the Fremont Creative Collective.? ? Melissa Hapke joined RVR Bank in 1997 as a Floating Teller. She then moved to the Loan Department as a Loan Processor and then the newly formed Trust department in 2001 as Trust Assistant and Secretary/Receptionist.? In 2010 she was promoted to Assistant Trust Officer and then to Assistant Vice President-Trust Officer in 2019.? In addition to her Trust roles, she also oversees the facility maintenance department for RVR Bank’s Fremont locations. ? Melissa attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and has an Associates in Business from Southeast Community College.? She is a graduate of the NBA/KBA Advanced Trust Administration School, the Advanced Trust Operations School, the bank’s Employee Leadership Development Program and an honors graduate of Leadership Fremont.? She is currently enrolled in Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership 2.0 program.? Melissa is a member of the Bergan Catholic Booster Club, St. Patrick’s Women and assists with the St. Patrick’s Women’s Christmas Bazaar.? ?

Tessie Collins?was promoted to Marketing Coordinator,?Ashley Kult?to Retail Banking Specialist - Loan Officer and?Megan Manson?to Compliance and Internal Audit Specialist.? ? Tessie?Collins joined RVR Bank (formerly First State Bank & Trust) in 2020 as Customer Service Representative. Later that year she was promoted to Marketing Assistant.?In this role, she participates in a diverse range of marketing initiatives, including social media management, graphic design, and event coordination.? Tessie is the point person for the RVR Bank in School program at Linden Elementary School. Furthermore, she was instrumental in the successful rebranding of the bank from First State Bank & Trust to RVR Bank, playing a key role in the behind-the-scenes planning and implementation.? ? Tessie is a graduate of Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration – Marketing & International Business.? She is an honors graduate of the Fremont Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Fremont program, Vice President of Fremont Area Young Professionals and serves as a Mentor for Teammates of Fremont. ? Ashley Kult?has been with RVR Bank (formerly Two Rivers Bank) for eight years and brought 12 additional years of banking experience with her. She has experience as a teller, teller supervisor, personal banker and loan operations specialist and retail banking specialist. She has worked in both the Arlington and Blair branches. ? In this role, Ashley will provide overall lending and operations support, while also taking on a larger role in consumer lending. She will now have the authority to originate and service consumer loans for RVR Bank clients.?? ? Ashley is a mentor with Teammates of Blair.? She was born and raised in Blair and graduated from Blair High School.?? ? Megan Manson?has been with RVR Bank (formerly Two Rivers Bank) for seven years and brought an additional 24 years of experience in customer service, finance, mortgage and loan background with her.? Megan started with the bank as a Loan Administration Coordinator and was named Credit Analyst in 2022.? Recently, Megan has expanded her role to encompass compliance and audit responsibilities, including crucial work with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). While continuing to support the loan department, she plays a vital role in ensuring the bank's adherence to regulatory standards. Megan is a graduate of San Jose State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.?

This promotion was made official at the RVR Bank Board of Directors annual meeting on January 15, 2025. ? Renen started at RVR Bank (formerly known as First State Bank & Trust) in 2016 and quickly joined the investment department. He has since earned his FINRA series 7 and 66 registrations as well as the Nebraska Life and Health Insurance Licenses and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP?) designation.? We have some exciting news to share! As many know, we purchased the land at the corner of Military and Main with the intent to build a new downtown branch. Well, we are getting closer to making that a reality and anticipate breaking ground on that new branch in the Spring of 2025. ? We have already begun the site prep for our branch as well as the new home of the City of Fremont Police Headquarters and 911 Communications Center.? We plan to build a 3,800 square foot branch which will be a full-service depository branch with drive-thru services, ATM access and a community meeting room. ? We expect to complete the new building by early 2026.? Once completed, the current Downtown branch will be relocated to the new space.? ? We have partnered with the La Macchia Group to design and build the new branch. The La Macchia Group is a nationally recognized design and build firm that specializes in creating unique designs with one-of-a-kind technology integration?for the financial services industry.? ? As a locally-owned, community bank, our Board of Directors is excited about this opportunity to relocate our downtown branch to a more visible and accessible location. This move reaffirms our dedication to serving Fremont and the downtown community.? We are also thrilled to work with the City on their plans to build a police station and 911 communications center to the north of our branch and know that both project designs will contribute to the vibrancy and well-being of our city. Today might be the last day of Community Banking Month but we celebrate our communities all year long! In 2023, every single RVR Bank employee made a pledge to the Fremont United Way Workplace Campaign. With the match from our Board of Directors, our team had an overall contribution of over $51,000! This campaign provides education, financial stability and health services in the Dodge and Washington Counties in Nebraska. #CommunityBankingMonth

At this community bank, we admire the local high school graduates seeking to further their education! Did you know RVR Bank annually gives out $9,000 in scholarships? These are rewarded to 12 outstanding individuals in the Fremont, Arlington, Blair and Fort Calhoun communities.
