  • At our last RAMS meeting, we had the pleasure of hosting Professor Mark Beal, who shared fascinating stories from his career in marketing, PR, and advertising. He discussed his work with high-profile clients like the Rolling Stones, Kevin Bacon, Serena Williams, and even Grumpy Cat, offering insights into the world of entertainment marketing. Along with career advice, he also touched on his extensive research on Gen Z, leaving us with valuable takeaways on how to navigate the industry.

  • RAMS ?? Marketing! At our latest RAMS meeting, we explored how brands capitalize on Valentine’s Day through emotional marketing and strategic campaigns. From discussing the holiday’s origins to analyzing standout case studies, we uncovered what makes Valentine’s Day such a lucrative marketing opportunity. We even put our networking skills to the test with Business Speed Dating and got creative with Valentine’s card-making!

  • RAMS had an amazing time at the 21st Annual Women’s Business Leadership Conference on February 9th! This year’s theme, "Towards Tomorrow," brought some super insightful conversations about everything from art to AI, led by inspiring women shaping the future. We connected with inspiring professionals, gained valuable insights from engaging panels, and enjoyed some great food and fun raffle prizes! Huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible. We're already looking forward to the next one!

  • Our collab with FORM was all about fashion marketing: real-world case studies, creative strategy, and a hands-on mood board session where everyone got to cut, paste, and bring their brand vision to life. From industry insights to creative brainstorming, this event was the perfect mix of learning and fun, where members were able to learn more about marketing in the fashion industry.   • ??NON-PROFIT MARKETING?? On November 21st, we hosted a fun event focusing on marketing strategies tailored for nonprofits. As Thanksgiving approached, it was the perfect time to reflect on the power of storytelling, mission-driven branding, and community engagement in creating meaningful impact. We were honored to have Andrew Scanlon, Sahil Jena and Isabel Li, from Enactus share their experiences working in the nonprofit sector, offering valuable insights into challenges, successes, and best practices. Another special thank you to Gail Rose for sharing her expertise and experiences. With over two decades of driving successful marketing and public relations campaigns and her commitment to promoting purpose-driven initiatives, Gail’s insights left a lasting impression on everyone in the room. Additionally, we dove into real-world nonprofit marketing campaigns, analyzing what worked, what didn’t, and the lessons learned from each case study!

  • ??SPORTS MARKETING?? Last Thursday, we had the incredible opportunity to host our Sports Marketing event, and what a success it was! A huge thank you to our amazing panelists- Noah Kang , Pankhudi Prasad, and Fionamarie Delapaz -for sharing their experience from the world of sports marketing. Your insights made the event great, and we couldn’t have done it without you! We’d also like to extend our gratitude to Evan Lee from CELSIUS Holdings, Inc. for partnering with us and making this collaboration possible. It was a marketing win-win, and we look forward to more future partnerships! Finally, a big shoutout to all our amazing RAMS members for your ongoing support and participation.   • ?? RAMS X TINDER U?? Last Thursday, we collaborated with Archrival, a youth culture agency, to learn about some of their major projects, like Tinder U and Adidas. Their goal is to break the traditional marketing mold and build trendy brands that college students love. Plus free food & merch! :) Thank you Abby Sherman & Tate Vobach for taking the time to speak about your knowledge and experience in marketing! This event wouldn’t have been possible without you.   • Fall 2024 Marketing Advisory Board Meeting We, the Rutgers Association of Marketing & Strategy at the New Brunswick campus, had the privilege of attending the Fall Marketing Advisory Board Meeting, where we gained valuable perspectives from Rutgers Business School professionals. It was an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest trends in the marketing department, voice recent updates on our club, brainstorm ideas on how we can all benefit from one another, and gain knowledgeable feedback. Our heartfelt thanks to our wonderful executive board, Roshni Chopdar Priya Patel James Xi & Rupsha Chakraborty for their dedicated representation of our club and their insightful presentation on behalf of RAMS. This was a memorable experience for everyone and we would like to extend a special thanks to our advisor, Madhavi Chakrabarty, for her invaluable assistance, alongside Alexandra F. Kunish, who facilitated our participation! We hope to work with everyone again soon. Thank you for letting us be a part of this amazing experience!
