This spring semester, our e-commerce team in the Research Analyst Program (RAP) produced a comprehensive white paper on the effects of the pandemic on the e-commerce market and the key strategies required to win in a post-pandemic environment. The team conducted a broad review of peer-reviewed publications, industry white papers, news articles, and official government releases to form the basis of their research. In addition, the team interviewed 7 experts across academic and industry backgrounds, conducted 2 case studies with senior leaders who led their businesses through the pandemic, and surveyed over 75 Rutgers students to assess student sentiment on what makes an attractive e-commerce experience. In addition, the team interviewed 14 experts across academic, industry, and government backgrounds, and surveyed over 90 Rutgers students to assess student sentiment on healthcare technologies and trends. The?Consulting Analyst Program?provides students with the unique experience of working with a real client over 10 weeks,?helping a business address difficult challenges and crafting innovative solutions. Students gain a multitude of different skills in consulting, client interaction, presentation, and more. The?Research Analyst Program?allows students to take a deep dive into their given research topic and become subject matter experts through the process of developing a detailed white paper. Students conduct both primary and secondary research to develop thought leadership for key stakeholders. Students may only apply to one program.
