I need to get this off my chest tonight. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on the judgments I face in my professional journey. I’ve encountered assumptions about who I am and what I deserve—based not on my skills or hard work, but on appearances. Some think because I present myself with care, I must not "need" the opportunities as much as others. Here’s the truth: I believe in quality, not quantity. I focus on presenting myself and my work at the highest standards, and that’s something I take pride in. I may not fit into certain stereotypes, but I’ve built my career on professionalism, integrity, and results—not on how much noise I make or how many flashy distractions I put out there. To anyone who feels judged based on appearance or assumptions, remember this: the way you show up in the world is your strength. Don’t let anyone else’s perception define your worth. My focus will always be on delivering quality, and I’m confident that’s what will shine through in the end. Let’s keep pushing forward, proving that professionalism and excellence speak louder than superficial judgments.

I had the honor of attending the WBENC Gala at The Plaza Hotel, where I met Fawn Weaver, the inspiring author and owner of Love and Whiskey. Although I’ve been around many notable people, I rarely feel the need to capture those moments in a photo. But Fawn is different. Her posts and her story have consistently inspired me, and meeting her in person was an incredible experience. For the first time, I asked for a photo, and she graciously invited me to join her in the Plaza lobby. She also signed 400 copies of her book for us. It was a reminder of the power of authenticity and grace in leadership. Thank you, Fawn, for making such a lasting impact.
