It’s not often a project involving so many partners has a truly valuable outcome for such a worthy community. This is one of those moments. Today we announced the launch of community broadband for residents of Meadow Lake and El Cerro Mission in Valencia County, NM, including free and reduced cost WiFi to eligible households for up to 2 years, funded by a grant from Meta. Thank you for all the hard work from Valencia County, Meta, Rural Innovation Strategies, Inc. , the New Mexico Office of Broadband Access and Expansion, and my team, Resound Networks, for getting creative on how to make this happen—especially with the potential loss of ACP. Lots of late nights for our exec team reworking the plans on that one! Public/private partnerships are what drives broadband connectivity and we are proud to showcase such a perfect example. Looking forward to more opportunities—and transformations—like this one!
