Exciting news from City of Bloomington, IN! Last week, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of The Forge, a 22,000-square-foot Class A office building in the heart of the Trades District. This $12.8M project, funded in part by a $3.5M U.S. EDA grant, is set to become a hub for tech companies, researchers, and innovators. REA played a pivotal role in shaping the Trades District Vision Plan and grant writing to secure EDA funding. We then collaborated with StudioAXIS on a thoughtful landscape design for The Forge, featuring a green roof that reduces stormwater runoff, promotes biodiversity, and enhances views from the third-floor amenity deck - a testament to the power of collaboration, sustainability, and forward-thinking design! . image 4, The Mill

Thanks, Rundell Ernstberger Associates for your belief in trees, soils, water and our technology!
Less than two years old and these street trees are already adding green character along Market Street in Indianapolis. Pavement-centric, auto-dominated downtown cores are often areas most in need of rejuvenating greenery — and Silva Cells are working to support these trees with access to lightly compacted, loamy planting soil. #urbanforestry #greeninfrastructure #cityplanning #indianapolis
