The project is within walking distance to Sugar Hill Town Center’s retail, dining, entertainment, and office space, as well as a 16.5 mile greenway trail. RJTR has been selected as the Architect and Interior Designer for the transformation and expansion of Cobb Galleria Centre, Georgia’s premier mid-size convention venue for tradeshows, meetings, and special events. The project includes the addition of a 2-story grand lobby, a 7,800 SF junior ballroom, 25,000 SF of new meeting space, 19,000 SF of new prefunction space, two unique outdoor event courtyards, and a new parking structure. Cobb Galleria Centre’s existing 146,000 SF exhibition hall, 25,000 SF ballroom, 37,000 SF of prefunction, and back-of-house spaces will also be extensively renovated. The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2027.
