Ruby-Collins is kicking off the Joshua St WPCP CSO Bypass Modifications project with extensive demolition and upgrades at the primary treatment facility. The work includes replacing pumps, piping, clarifier equipment, and utility lines. We are looking forward to working with the City of Albany. Ruby-Collins is pleased to announce the early and under-budget completion of the Niskey Lake dam rehabilitation project in the City of Atlanta. This project was executed in partnership between our Ruby-Collins Heavy Civil and Plant divisions, allowing us to self-perform all earthwork, utilities, and concrete scopes on this project. We were thrilled to be a part of making the first Progressive Design-Build project for the City of Atlanta a success! Looking forward to future successful projects with WSP in the U.S.

We are very pleased to announce the promotion of TJ Ackerman and Jason Hyde to Vice Presidents at Ruby-Collins! TJ Ackerman brings over 15 years of industry experience and has been a key member of our team since joining in 2016. His outstanding leadership in running the Plant Division has positioned us for tremendous success. As Vice President, TJ will be more involved in the executive functions of the company, and will oversee both the Plant and Heavy Civil Divisions. TJ Ackerman Jason Hyde has an impressive 25 years in the industry and joined Ruby-Collins in 2021. His leadership was critical in establishing our Heavy Civil Division, now an integral part of our company. In his new role as Vice President, Jason will be more involved in the executive functions of the company, and will oversee both the Pipeline and Trenchless Divisions. Ruby-Collins recently hosted a “Surveying 101” class, recognizing the importance of surveying skills in our field operations. Since many of our team members rely on surveying instruments, learning to use them accurately helps prevent discrepancies, minimizes back-and-forth between superintendents and survey crews, and improves efficiency—saving both time and money. These classes are also a great opportunity for newer employees to develop valuable skills that can advance their careers, opening doors to future superintendent and surveying roles.
