Yesterday, our team was honored to participate in the Hudson's Topping Out ceremony in Detroit. The event included a project team beam signing session, remarks from project leaders, lunch, and of course, the raising of the beam. Our group was also treated to a tour of the project's Block portion by our friends from Barton Malow! After an illustrious 6o-year career, our much beloved Founder and Chairman, David Ruby, PE, SE, F ASCE, has retired. Dave’s mark on our profession and the construction industry is unmatched, and the constructability philosophy on which he built our firm in 1984 continues to drive our engineers in all that they do. If we have helped you build it better, it is no doubt because Dave provided the foundation of thought and mentorship to make it so. The 2024 ACE Mentor Program of SE Michigan is underway! We're excited to have approximately 40 high school students from 10 different school districts in the Detroit area join us. The program started the week of January 22nd and runs for 13 weeks.
