Ruan's East Chicago, IN, operation recently joined forces with enduring partner Linde and Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) in the fight against human trafficking. Together, we hosted an impactful event featuring the Freedom Drivers Project mobile exhibit, empowering our teams to recognize and respond to signs of trafficking. Last week, the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS) honored our founder, John Ruan Sr., by inducting him into the American Trucking and Industry Leader Hall of Fame, acknowledging his profound contributions to the transportation and logistics industry. Additionally, ATHS presented Ruan with an award celebrating over 75 years of continuous, successful operations.
