Two memorable days of eye-opening panels, keynotes and discussions all revolving around marketing, advertising and TV for small and medium-sized businesses. It was a highlight to meet and engage with so many new and familiar faces from the SME marketing community in Germany at our RTL AdAlliance SME Summit 2024. With over 100 guests, 18 enthusiastic speakers and a star appearance to commemorate these insightful days, this year’s event marked another step for our deep commitment to deliver tailor-made TV-advertising solutions for SMEs. For the first time, RTL Deutschland is partnering with the German public broadcaster ARD to find the next big Eurovision act! This new partnership marks the first time in over a decade that a private broadcaster is involved in the German Eurovision Song Contest selection. RTL and German TV Legend Stefan Raab will be part of the world’s oldest televised international music competition which has been organized annually by German public television since 1956. ESC strategist Stefan Raab - currently on an exclusive five-year contract with RTL - already secured a German ESC victory in 2010 (Lena Meyer-Landrut with 'Satellite'). RTL Deutschland’s massive reach across all platforms and Raab’s proven expertise promise to infuse fresh energy into Germany’s ESC national selection, aiming to find the next Eurovision star to represent Germany in Basel, Switzerland in 2025.
