The Strasburg High School commons renovation is officially complete! The renovation created a stem lab with support spaces, study rooms in the library, a new concessions building, new bleachers, and a press box. Our team had a wonderful time celebrating this exciting occasion and cheering on the Strasburg football team with staff, students, and community members. The Pikes Peak Summit Visitor Center has received the American Architecture Award from The Chicago Athenaeum International Museum for Architecture and Design! This prestigious award is the highest public award in the nation and honors new and cutting-edge designs. The innovative design of the Pikes Peak Visitor Center allows the stunning landscape of America’s Mountain to take center stage, creating a seamless, immersive experience for visitors. RTA’s Brian and Ann Marie will present with Clear Creek School District Principal Loraine Swartz, delving into our exciting journey renovating a 1969 brutalist school building, nicknamed the Tower of Learning. Nestled into a mountainside, the previously abandoned school has been reimagined as an experiential elementary school that fosters curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Construction for Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc.’s new community health and wellness center in the historic Alamosa Courthouse has officially begun! Currently on the National Historic Register, the adaptive reuse of the courthouse will retain the character of the original building and ensure it remains on the Register. The renovation will transform the space into a wellness center that provides integrated health services to the community. Interior modifications will create a primary care clinic, behavioral health services, physical therapy treatment space, conference space, and support areas. The existing exterior arcade will be enclosed and converted into an interior space, with the existing arched openings converted into windows that provide ample daylight for staff and patients. As construction progresses on the new Wecker Hall for the US Air Force Academy Association of Graduates and the US Air Force Academy Foundation, a group of our emerging professionals had the opportunity to visit the site. Led by Construction Administrator Rick, they observed the ongoing work and gained valuable insights into the project.?

Sometimes, you just have to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, visit a famous troll. In a busy week, RTA team members took the opportunity to make a short detour to visit the Breckenridge Troll. ? #RTALife
