At RSM, our mission has always been to create great work, with great people, with great passion. Our time at the SEGD Conference in Dallas was filled with inspiration, exploration, and plenty of Texas spirit! From iconic landmarks like Big Tex at the State Fair of Texas? to the historic Fort Worth Stockyards, the RSM Design team enjoyed immersing themselves in local culture while exchanging ideas and celebrating our work. Touring our projects at Mule Alley and participating in the remarkable Experience Dallas Tours hosted by SEGD made it a great week of meaningful connections, collaboration, and learning!

Every successful project starts with strong collaboration. Open dialogue between clients, designers, and team members is key to shaping a unified vision. When creative minds converge, sharing insights and building trust, that vision is fully actualized. When all contributors are actively engaged, the project becomes a reflection of the collective strength and creativity of the entire team, resulting in a space that truly resonates. As the 2024 American Society of Landscape Architects Conference kicks off this weekend, RSM Design’s very own Associate Principal Christy Montgomery will bring these ideas to life during her session on “Making Commercial Space More Inviting,” alongside Adam Fine, Director of Experiential Graphic Design at Fathom Studio, and Susan Mavor, Owner of Lost & Found Design. Decades of practice have proven this approach effective as it harmonizes with human behavior, ensuring spaces are intuitive and meaningful for users. SEGD Conference / RSM Workshops day 1! We touched down in Dallas, ran over to the Stockyards in Fort Worth for the Cattle Drive, then we toured some of our work at the Stockyards and the?Hotel Drover?and ended the night with margaritas and Tex Mex at?Joe T.
