?? Reflecting on the Inaugural Asia-Pacific Summit on Responsible Research ?? We are thrilled to share the successful conclusion of the Inaugural Asia-Pacific Summit on Responsible Research, hosted last week by 清华大学经济管理学院 Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management with support from the The University of Queensland and HKUST Business School. This milestone event for #RRBM gathered over 100 attendees, including deans of business schools, editors-in-chief and board members of leading journals, scholars, and industry experts. The summit focused on how business school research can make a meaningful impact, drawing on perspectives from the Asia-Pacific region and exploring global implications. It included inspiring keynotes, engaging parallel sessions, PhD candidates’ poster presentations, and in-depth integration and reflection sessions. While we have a clear understanding of what responsible research means and why it's important, the challenge is how to achieve it effectively. For a deeper dive into the key takeaways from our discussions, check out our attached blog post. A heartfelt thank you to all speakers, attendees and staff involved in the inaugural event! We look forward to continuing this journey and collaboration toward a more impactful and responsible research future globally. ???? Excellent commentary here from Andy Hoffman in Harvard Business Review with many thoughts often discussed in the communities of EFMD Global & RRBM Responsible Research in Business and Management. Refreshing also not to be solely focused on AI which has great potential both for progress but also as the next big crash! I heard a great quote saying the world has been full of "artificial" intelligence since the dawning of time.
