RPO is proud to support the 14+ Foundation and Joseph Mizzi of Sciame Construction, LLC in their mission to develop schools and orphanages in rural African communities. ? For those who may not be familiar, the 14+ Foundation, Inc., Inc. has opened two schools in Zambia that provide comprehensive primary education to nearly 500 students. Their initiatives also focus on improving infrastructure, enhancing access to medical care, and establishing community grinding mills to ensure essential goods are readily available. ? Last night, we celebrated the 10th Annual Cocktail Benefit at the Hall des Lumières, a stunning venue that was once a post office and has been transformed into a digital art event space. This event successfully raised over $650,000 to support the operations of Chipakata Children's Academy and their newest project, Mwabwindo School. ? The Rebecca School, an innovative education provider for neurodevelopmental delays, spanning kindergarten through young adults has just announced the grand opening of their new location at East 21st Street. RPO is honored to have been a part of this project in collaboration with Murdock Solon Architects, Creative Studio Architects, and Omundsen Construction Corp. RPO served as the lead building consultant, and managed plan approvals, construction permits, NYC DOB inspections, and assisted in obtaining the final certificate of occupancy. One of our long-time clients has a family distillery business - Oak & Grist - that has been affected by Hurricane Helene. While the distillery was fortunately left intact, services to the business and surrounding area have been badly affected. The business is inaccessible, and they do not have utilities that are needed to operate, so the staff has turned to helping others in the community rebuild. But that doesn't pay the bills.
