Ensure all accounting practices are following legal guidelines and established Generally Accepted Accounting Principals. ? Collaborate with the company financial team to create & maintain internal records, controls and policies. ? Prepare various balance sheet and analysis type reconciliations on a 13-period basis. ? Knowledge of Sage Intacct Accounting Software a Plus ? Experience with multiple company, multiple state accounting a plus. ? Ensure all financial statements & reports are prepared timely and accurately. ? Create individual company and consolidated financial statements & reports for owners & leadership. ? Assist & advice long-term plans & budgets for each area of company.. ? Monitor company-wide operating budget & cash flow. ? Track and report variances. ? Forecast potential revenue. ? Set operational benchmarks. ? Hire and train accounting personnel. Education ? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance with 5yr minimum working experience in an accounting management level position. ? Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field a PLUS Qualifications ? Recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA) or MBA a PLUS Skills ? Analyzes information effectively ? Knowledgeable of financial/accounting requirements ? Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) ? Good computer skills - proficient in all Microsoft Office products ? Advance knowledge of Microsoft Excel ? Knowledge of SQL a plus ? Well organized & detail oriented ? Excellent time management ?
