We're still new into the world of employee ownership and we're here to learn more from other employee-owned organisations and share our own experiences so far. It's such a supportive community and we're looking forward to meeting lots of fellow owners over the next two days and taking part in a wide range of workshop sessions on topics like Building a Successful EO Culture, Being an Effective Trustee, Empowering Employee Owners to Have a Voice – we're splitting up to cover as many of the sessions as we can because we couldn't pick just a few. There was a strong focus on change and transformation in the presentations at our RPC Primavera User Conference last month. It's easy to see on paper how process improvements driven by new software solutions can bring benefits of increased efficiency or better reporting to a business, but without buy-in from the teams who will be using them it's an uphill struggle to achieve the full potential of a new way of working. We're very proud of the work we do in helping our clients with their stakeholder management and in supporting cultural shifts within an organisation and it was great to hear first hand from Jennifer McCarthy of National Nuclear Laboratory and Robert Craighill BSc (Hons) MSc from Leonardo the success stories around how they approached the human element of implementing a new project planning and controls solution from #OraclePrimavera in their organisations.
