    Still searching… The harsh truth is your LinkedIn profile is costing you and so is how you show up… Here is what you should do, vs what you're currently doing: ? You need to optimize your headline: say what you do, for whom, and what they get (transformation).? ?? Your title acronyms are nice but not enough. ?You need to write a compelling 'About' section that tells your unique story.? ??Your list of skills is long yet we know nothing about YOU. ?You need to add relevant skills that match the job you want and what clients and recruiters are searching for.? ??Your use of long paragraphs scares recruiters and visitors away and they quickly move on. ?You need to engage regularly with your network to stay top of mind. ??You post and ghost and well that's not cool... Final advice from the girl who wants to see you succeed: ??STOP treating your LinkedIn like a static BORING resume.     Let’s be real: recruiting and staffing are essential but challenging. The best candidates? They rarely apply. ?? They’re out there making waves, already valued in their roles. So how do we reach them? ?? And more importantly, how can already-overloaded leaders possibly find time to recruit?     You feel doubt and sometimes fear. The process has even made you feel small at times. Every door that closes makes you doubt your value. They ghost you. They disregard you. They don’t see you. Many of us have experienced this while searching for the next big thing. This morning while I was thinking about what to share my heart felt heavy for those in this season. And I felt you needed to be reminded that you are qualified. ?? Your experience in life, business, and employment has given you skills you may not be sharing. But first, you're not small. You're full of value and they would be lucky to have you! Let's take the time to assess how you showcase your skills to others, as it will make a difference. ?? Here is a great exercise that helps me. Grab a piece of paper and instead of writing down duties from each job or business, write down lessons learned. This will be a great confidence booster too! Here are mine as an example (It's a little long because I am not young ??). Start by reminding yourself: "I am qualified because of the skills I have developed." ? Worked in retail, trained in sales, customer service, and inventory ?MLM, in my 20's trained in sales and persuasion ?Flipped houses, trained in research, budgets, profit/loss, investments ?Bought, ran, and sold a coffee shop customer service, process, sales, inventory, profit and loss (mostly loss) ?? ?Started a healthcare marketing company, trained in connection and rejection, negotiation, art of networking ?Consulting and services, trained to be a visionary for others, trained to counsel, teach, advise, and transform ?Took a client into multiple 7 figures quickly,?trained in hyper-growth, scaling, profit, loss, and growing teams ?Staffing and Recruitment, people skills, search skills, sales, career and team development, outsourcing, and more. Today, at my age. I finally admit I know a few things. And I bet you do too!!! I can't wait to hear about your list! Please share in the comments a few lessons learned and where they came from!
