Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Independent Waste Haulers Winter Conference in Victoria, Texas, hosted by White Trash Services (WTS). The event offered a fantastic mix of professional development, networking, and Texas hospitality. ? Highlights of the event: ?? Kicked things off with a fishing tournament in Port O’Connor. ?? Explored Texas history with a tour of the Presidio La Bahía. ?? Engaged in meaningful conversations with Routeware customers, learning how our solutions have transformed their businesses and identifying new ways we can continue to support their growth. ?? Connected with independent, family-owned waste haulers from across the country, exchanging insights on how Routeware can help drive their success by: - Increasing revenue - Reducing costs - Minimizing liability These moments reminded me how crucial family-owned businesses are to our industry and how innovation can elevate their operations. ?? Day 1 of the Independent Waste Haulers Winter Conference in Victoria, TX, kicked off with an unforgettable start! We set out early for a fishing tournament in Port O’Connor, catching the sunrise over the water and making some great memories with our team of four, along with Captain Lolo. ?? By the time we made it to the weigh-in, we’d had a blast competing and sharing laughs. The day wrapped up with a welcome reception, where I had the chance to connect with some of our customers, most of whom are family-owned businesses. Hearing their stories was inspiring—they shared their market outlook, growth aspirations, and the challenges they’re navigating. This conference is already proving to be an incredible opportunity to build stronger relationships within our industry, share insights, and explore opportunities to move forward together Routeware, Inc.
