Rotary Zones 33/34 is an administrative arm of Rotary International - one of the longest running service-based and truly charitable organizations in the world. Rotary Zones 33/34 manage and oversee 31 Districts and over 1800 Clubs from Western Pennsylvania down the Eastern Seaboard, across the Caribbean and South America. With over 66,000 members under its jurisdiction, Rotary Zones 33/34 boasts not only a broad geography, but also, a most diverse composition of cultures and creeds all of whom unite to provide help to individuals and communities in need and make our world a better place on under the motto of "Service Above Self" WHAT’S ROTARY? Rotary is an international membership organization made up of people who share a passion for and commitment to enhancing communities and improving lives across the world. Rotary clubs exist in almost every country. Our members change lives locally and connect with other clubs to work on international projects that address today’s most pressing challenges. Being a member is an opportunity to take action and make a difference, and it brings personal rewards and lifelong friendships in the process. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community’s business and professional men and women. Check out how our very own Zones 33/34 Rotary International Director Elect Marshall Butler is fueled by his passion for running and service. As a member of Rotary, he views his runs as a way to identify opportunities to help the community. “I’ve learned things about a city I thought I knew,” Butler shared. “You see patterns — the same people at the bus stop every morning, the same folks walking to work. Last month I had the opportunity to soak up incredible inspiration and gain a whole group of new friends at Rotary International 's Rotary Zones 33/34 Leadership Summit in VisitPITTSBURGH. Grateful to chosen by Rotary District 6950 as an "emerging leader." Part of that weekend was a special service project, assembling beds for Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
