A huge thank you to Connie Urbanek and Shana Gatschet from Club Parkinson’s for speaking at today’s Rotary meeting! We learned that Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing brain disease, but Club Parkinson’s is making a difference. As Wichita’s only local wellness-focused resource, they provide education, fitness, therapy-led programs, and support for those affected. Their partnership with Wichita State University enhances their impact, bringing hope to many in our community. We appreciate the work you do!

Thank you to Jeff Horlacher, our Rotary District Governor, for visiting us this week and sharing your thoughts on the importance of mental health and community outreach. We appreciate your dedication to these vital causes and are grateful for your time and effort in bringing attention to these important issues! Also, a special thank you to Bill Gardner for the delightful surprise of Irish dancers from Corry Academy of Irish Dance – it was a fun and enjoyable addition to the day!
