Rotarian Henry Panion, renowned producer, composer, arranger and orchestrator, was featured in a Birmingham Times feature highlighting his role as conductor for Stevie Wonder's recent 11-city tour. The Rotary Club of Birmingham recently welcomed Birmingham City Schools Juniors participating in the CAMP Merit Scholars program to The Harbert Center for an induction ceremony to kick off the year. The program is underwritten by the RCB Foundation and will culminate with Rotarians conducting mock interviews with the 67 impressive young people. Congratulations to Rotarian Jane Reed Ross, Goodwyn Mills Cawood Senior Landscape Architect, who was recently inducted into the 2024 American Society of Landscape Architects Class of the Council of Fellows. Ross has been a pioneer in developing creative destinations in greenspace and connectivity including the Red Rock Trail Master Plan for Jefferson County and Rotary Trail, where she partnered with the Rotary Club of Birmingham to create a linear park and greenway in a depressed rail bed running through the heart of Birmingham. "For me, it’s all about striving for the common good and improving quality of life," Ross said.
