Way to go, Patrick Parents Jr. 🚍! Patrick is a member of #TeamRossi, but more importantly, he is a Rider Talker and a valued member of the MTA Maryland Rider Experience Team. He recently led an “Operations 101” session for the MTA OCX team. 🚧 Slow down. Stay alert. Save lives. 🚧 Next week marks the start of National Work Zone Awareness Week, and this year’s theme is "Respect the zone so we all get home." Work zones are more than just cones and signs—they’re places where lives are at risk. In 2022 alone, 891 people lost their lives in work zone crashes across the US (NHTSA FARS data). The majority of those killed were drivers and passengers. 742 motorists and their passengers never made it home because of crashes in work zones. That’s why it’s crucial to slow down, stay focused, and drive responsibly when approaching roadwork. Spread the word. Drive safely.
