Wow the Rose City Robotics and Robotics Collaborative meetup this week is going to be ???????????????? on March 26tg! We now have 70 people registered after raising capacity 3 times! For real though we are now reaching full capacity at the Metro Region Innovation Hub and Upstart Collective on PSU campus at the Portland State University Business Accelerator. We do have tentative plans to stream for those who can’t make it in person and will release the streaming registration once in- person capacity is filled (~10 more people). If you can not attend in person and plan to stream, please wait to register once we open up the online steaming registration. Joseph Davidson, Associate Professor of Robotics & Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University will be joining our panel of speakers on March 26th at the Metro Region Innovation Hub! Joe has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and directs the Oregon State University Intelligent Machines & Materials Lab (IMML). His research group performs fundamental and applied research at the intersection of design, mechanics, machine learning, and controls.

We are working with RealMan Robotics on new open-source robotics educational curriculum! We are excited to announce our we are working with RealMan Robotics to develop educational content aimed at empowering the next generation of roboticists. Rocsys offers solutions to make electric vehicle charging infrastructure autonomous, having developed a dedicated robot for automating the connection between the vehicle and the charger. As the founding member of Rocsys in North America, Erin is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Rocsys' autonomous charging solutions business within the region.
