Everyone indulged in tasty cinnamon raisin and peanut butter protein bites. Residents embarked on an exciting shopping trip at Walmart, hunting for awesome finds! ??

Employee Spotlight: Selena Martinez, PTA Selena Martinez graduated from Penn College and has been a physical therapist assistant at Rose View since November of 2023. She wanted to be a PTA in order to directly improve patients' lives by assisting them to regain function and independence through therapy. Selena enjoys being a part of the Rose View Rehab Team and working with both short- and long-term residents with a large variety of needs and goals. While in school to be a PTA Selena worked as a direct support professional and was able to learn about caring for individuals with different types of disabilities which led to her being a well-rounded PTA. Outside of work, Selena enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their animals. They currently have 2 cats and are adding a golden retriever puppy soon as well! They spend time going camping, fishing, and watching concerts. Selena also enjoys spending time with her family as she grew up locally, in Montoursville. Selena is also a strong advocate for individuals with mental health challenges. As she has overcome challenges herself, she now works to help others and raise awareness through suicide prevention walks and being a support for residents and friends overcoming these obstacles. When asked what she is proud of, Selena responded "I am proud of my resilience and patience with working with residents and helping them achieve their personal and functional goals." Thank you, Selena, for everything you do for our residents! We are so grateful for you!

In February, we hosted a delightful birthday celebration for our February birthdays filled with cupcake decorating, music, and endless laughter. Everyone enjoyed the creative activities and joyful atmosphere! ??
