We had a stylish morning at the Pink Promenade catwalk event with Mt. Pleasant Towne Centre supporting the Roper St. Francis Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Our very own teammates impacted by breast cancer graced the runway. ???? Join us in celebrating these teammates and their inspiring stories. Melissa Jackson, a social work case manager at Roper Rehabilitation Hospital, was diagnosed with invasive and in situ ductal breast cancer in January 2018. She chose a double mastectomy in March and is forever grateful to God and her care team for guiding her through the journey. ?? Renee Rumph, a quality assurance project specialist with Roper St. Francis Healthcare, was diagnosed with breast cancer (DCIS) in 2010. After undergoing a double mastectomy and being cancer-free for four years, the cancer returned as Stage 4. Today, she faces it head-on with daily oral chemotherapy and biweekly infusions. ?? Tami Morrison-Washington, an MD receptionist with Roper St. Francis Physician Partners, received her diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer in June 2023.
