Today marks 4 years since the passing of Nathan Marks, whose life inspired the creation of Roots. ?? Nathan battled his mental health and addiction for 20+ years, went to several different treatment centers, and took something away from each experience. A few weeks before he tragically passed away, he sat down with his sister, Michelle (our CEO??), to talk about what starting a treatment program would look like in our community. Nathan was passionate that there were certain characteristics that an impactful treatment center needed to embody, and we have used his vision to create the program we have today. ?? Nathan’s legacy lives on in the work we do, and we remain dedicated to carrying his vision forward, honoring his life with every step we take. Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch is a brand new, residential, dual diagnosis treatment center in Argyle TX, with a population focus of females ages 13-17. We are dedicated to assessing and treating the whole child - biologically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. We strongly believe that our relationship-centered approach, our immersive family systems element, our future-focused education program, and our extensive aftercare program are significant pieces necessary in preparing our clients for renewal and lifelong recovery. The facility is located on a six-acre ranch and is comprised of a 6,000 square foot home and a 1,200 square foot barn. MISSION Through a comprehensive whole-child (bio-psycho-social-spiritual) approach, implemented in a safe, nurturing and undistracted environment, individuals will journey through their life story, discover their core roots, create a loving sense of self, reconnect with family and community, build hope in a healthy and purposeful life, and develop a convicted belief that they are enough.

What an INCREDIBLE time we had at the First Annual Olympic Games!!!???????? It was a full afternoon of games, a snow cone truck, a dunk tank, bounce house, delicious food, and so many smiles!?? It makes our hearts SO FULL to see our clients let loose and embrace sober fun. Shout out to our amazing staff for going ALL IN, and making this day the absolute best day possible for our girls.
