No photo, or stock photo (LinkedIn favors posts with photos and humans favor photos of you.) You’re not engaging with others’ posts in a meaningful way. ?? Your first sentence has one second to catch people’s attention before they scroll past. Litmus test: Would YOU stick around to read your first sentence? It’s time to get brutally honest with yourself. How to be on point? Clarity, succinctness, curiosity. Be clear. Be quick. Pique curiosity. ?? Choose a personal photo over a stock photo every time. A professional photo shoot is worth it, although in today’s LinkedIn, selfies and work-appropriate snapshots work very well too. ?? It’s not all about you. In order to get you have to give.
