As this industry undergoes disruption, consolidation, and re-invention, we're proud to partner with a local, family-owned peer - while private equity firms are in hungry-hungry hippo mode. There is no winner in that game. Our sister company Nest DC enthusiastically continues rental management in Washington, DC, and, Maryland. It has been our pleasure, as the region and nation's only (known) employee-owned company, serving our city and clients. We are grounded! Roost DC took flight in 2015 as the only employee-owned property management company (we could find - and we looked hard). In 2023, Roost DC transitioned proudly transitioned contracts to EJF - a family-owned community management company we have long admired. Roost is on a break, perhaps reimagined, but not as a management firm. It was a thrill of a ride.
