Founded in 1932, the Citizen's Budget Commission is a nonpartisan, nonprofit think tank and watchdog devoted to influencing constructive change in the finances, services, and policies of New York City and New York State Government. Roosevelt & Cross Incorporated's Manager of Research, Susannah Page, was honored today at Smith’s Research & Gradings 2024 All-Stars Municipal Analysts Awards luncheon. For the second year in a row, Susannah was elected to the Second Team in the Non-Debt: COPs, Lease-Backed, Appropriation Risk category. She is a six-time All-Stars winner. Congratulations Susannah! Roosevelt & Cross Incorporated is pleased to announce that, on November 8, Charles Stavitski was named our Chief Executive Officer and Elaine Brennan was named our President. Mr. Stavitski and Ms. Brennan are Executive Directors in our Public Finance Department, and they have both executed hundreds of senior managed transactions that total over $50 billion for the firm’s investment banking clients. ? Mr. Stavitski joined Roosevelt & Cross in 2007, and he has been a member of our Public Finance Department for his entire career. He was appointed to the firm’s Board of Directors in 2021. Mr. Stavitski was the firm’s interim CEO over the last 12 months and he has also served as our Chief Legal Officer. According to Mr. Stavitski, “it’s an honor to guide a firm that’s been a consistent presence in the market for nearly eighty years, and I look forward to building on our success with the next generation of leaders.” Ms. Brennan has over 45 years of experience in municipal securities. She joined Roosevelt & Cross in 1993 as a trader and then transitioned to our Public Finance Department in 2006. Ms. Brennan has been a member of the firm’s Board of Directors since 2019. Ms. Brennan notes, “I look forward to contributing to the management of the firm in this increased capacity. The success of Roosevelt & Cross and our employees is our priority and we will continue to encourage a productive and rewarding work environment.”

The Urban Leadership Fellows (ULF) Program provides paid summer internships and scholarship opportunities for graduating NYC high school students who have an interest in the financial services industry. Since 1992, the ULF Program has been coordinated and managed by Futures and Options. The ULF Program gives students valuable opportunities to learn about the municipal securities industry first-hand. Roosevelt & Cross Incorporated congratulates Paul Lamas on his retirement from the firm. Paul joined us in 1990 and was a key part of our expansion into project finance. Paul left a lasting legacy on countless not-for-profit issuers, corporate entities, and public sector clients in the Northeast. He was also a significant factor in our firm’s leadership for more than a decade. Most importantly, Paul has been a great friend and mentor to many colleagues over the years.
