All RMHC Florida Chapters work together every day to support each other and better serve our families. As hurricanes and storms begin to roll in, that collaboration doesn’t fade. As Hurricane Milton approaches Florida, our hearts are with those Chapters and their communities. The Northwest Florida Chapter is ready to share strength and extend our support during this time. Our staff and Board of Directors came together last week to conduct strategic planning and set new goals for the next two years. With so many passionate and talented individuals in one room, the collaboration and results were incredible. We look forward to how we will strengthen and grow our mission moving forward! We’d also like to add a very special thank you to our facilitator who is no stranger to the mission of RMHC. Laura Ragain, President & CEO of RMHC Southwest Florida, thoughtfully guided our discussions and shared her invaluable experience from years of service to her Chapter in Fort Myers. ??

Happy Fourth of July! Today we have the honor of celebrating our independence with friends and family. It's because of this day in 1776 that we show our patriotism and enjoy all the festivities that today brings! Have fun and stay safe! ????

We have some exciting news! ?? A familiar face is taking on a new role here at the House. Cindy Henry has been our dedicated Family Room Coordinator in the children's hospital, but we are thrilled to share that she will now be serving even more of our families as our new Programs Manager. Congratulations, Cindy! ??

The heart of our mission is our families. ?? They're the heroes of our story, and we are honored to celebrate them on this 30th anniversary of International Day of Families! Our families face unique challenges, but their strength and resilience inspires us every day. Here's to all of our families that make the RMHC mission so special!

It’s bittersweet to share that today is our Director of Programs Asia High's last day at the House. We are incredibly sad but have tremendous pride and excitement in her decision to continue to serve families at RMHC Global in Chicago. She has compassionately cared for families across Northwest Florida for the past 12 years, and we know she will continue to do amazing things in her next chapter in the Windy City! This week several of our team members had the opportunity to attend the annual Florida meeting of RMHC Chapters! With a focus on collaboration, it was incredible to gather with our colleagues and learn how we can serve families better today, tomorrow, and every day.
