Last week was our "Gratitude" week for the staff at RMHC Kansas City. Starting with the transformation of one of our spaces into the "Gratitude Cafe" with breakfast from Tin Pan Cinnamon Rolls, to a delicious lunch provided by Chicken N Pickle and a party at their holiday pop-up, to a bouquet bar and treats, our staff is going into the Thanksgiving holiday with full hearts and thankful for this group of amazing people! #EmployeeAppreciation #Gratitude #Thanksgiving

Our staff started off our week with a #DEI training with The Racial Equity Institute called a Groundwater workshop. The workshop was based on three observations: racial inequity looks the same across systems; socio-economic difference does not explain the racial inequity; and, inequities are caused by systems, regardless of people’s culture or behavior. Embracing these truths, we begin to unlock transformative change.?Thank you, REI, for such a thought-provoking morning!

Last week, we celebrated the fourth year of the incredible Gold Key ?? Project with ReeceNichols Real Estate! We’re beyond grateful for these fantastic agents who dedicate so much of their time and energy to support the families at Ronald McDonald House. Not only do they generously donate $100 from every home sold, but they also volunteer, prepare meals for families and contribute to our pantry. We couldn’t be more thankful for this amazing partnership and can’t wait to continue it for years to come! ?? #ThankfulThursday #BringingHeartsandHomesTogether #GoldKeyProject

After 265 nights with us, we are beyond excited to share that they were finally able to bring Silas home for the first time.
