The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vermont provides a comfortable 'home away from home' for families with children receiving medical care at the UVM Health Network. Ronald McDonald House Charities provides assistance and support for children through various programs in our region. Our Programs: Ronald McDonald House: A comfortable, 'soft place to land' for families experiencing the hospitalization of a child. Located at 16 South Winooski Avenue in Burlington, this historic home has 11 guest rooms for guest families to rest and restore between visits to the hospital. Delicious homecooked dinners are provided each evening by guest chefs or our in-house chef. Ronald McDonald Family Room: A comfortable setting located on the pediatric floor of the hospital, where families can rest, use the kitchen area, computer, shower and laundry facility. Ronald McDonald Care Mobile: A collaboration between Ronald McDonald House Charities and the Health Center in Plainfield, VT. This mobile care van brings high-quality dental services to underserved and uninsured children in rural parts of Vermont.
