Earlier today, Oneida County Executive Anthony J. Picente Jr. presented Rome Health President/CEO AnneMarie Czyz, RN and COO Ryan Thompson with $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to invest in a hybrid operating room as part of its capital project to replace Rome Health's aging rooms and ICU. Rome Health wants to thank the County Executive for his continued support on bringing the best care out there to everyone in Rome and the surrounding area.

On January 8, members of City of Rome government and Common Council received a construction tour of the Kaplan Center for Surgical Services and the Intensive Care Unit at Rome Health. The representatives had an opportunity to view the progress and ask questions about our Master Facility Plan.?Partnering with the City is vital as Rome Health continues to transform the delivery of community based healthcare. Bringing our vision to reality allows for us to better care for our community now, and long into the future. Rome Health extends sincere gratitude to Mayor Lanigan, Mayor Izzo, Common Council, City Officials, and the patients who seek our services. Without a significant investment of ARPA funds, a brand-new Intensive Care Unit would not be possible. Thank you!
