The multiphase Nicholas Street project consists of 4,200 feet of storm sewer in varying sizes from 54 to 84 inches in diameter, 6,250 feet of 12-inch sanitary sewer, along with pavement removal and restoration. Roloff crews took swift action when we were alerted of a critical sewer failure along Hell Creek, a direct result of the severe flooding that hit Omaha earlier this year. The scope included driving a sheet pile wall approximately 85 feet long by 34 feet deep adjacent to the interceptor, installing a new 30-inch sewer, and then backfilling the area that eroded away, along with trail and seeding restoration.
