This Women’s History Month, we celebrated “Women Who Break Barriers to Build Futures.” Our Senior Manager of Workplace Inclusion, Derrick Brown, interviewed incredible women across Rollins who inspire us all. 💻 We highlighted how Cybersecurity Analyst Amber Jimerson is using her passion to inspire generations by becoming a children’s book author who wrote a book on cybersecurity awareness. 🌟HomeTeam Director of Training Debbie Catka shared stories of resilience and the importance of relying on community to achieve success. 👩🏽🤝👩🏻We also hosted a panel discussion with Rollins leaders Gelair Butler, Clarissa Mitchell and Stormy White, who discussed the importance of cultivating unity among women. Women’s History Month may be ending, but at Rollins, we don’t just celebrate women during March. Our dedication to honoring and supporting women is year-round. Technical Services Manager Ian Williams, MS BCE made quite an impact at Bethesda Elementary School’s career day event last week! He informed second through fifth graders about what an entomologist is and the type of work they do. The students were thoroughly engaged! Way to go on inspiring the next generation, Ian!

Our Women+ ERG celebrated International Women’s Day yesterday by honoring the women at Rollins. The lunch and roundtable discussion had a great turnout where participants shared stories about inspiring women who have influenced their lives. Our Director of Safety and Health Syed Elshamy, MS, CSP participated in a panel on fleet and safety at GeoTab Connect last week. At Rollins, we pride ourselves on putting safety first, and we are proud of Syed for championing that practice and sharing his expertise with other industry leaders!

During this Black History Month, we reflected on the profound impact of Invisible Changemakers, those whose efforts often go unseen yet drive success and innovation in our company and communities. This year’s theme, “African Americans and Labor,” inspired this celebration of the hard work that has sustained progress across generations. We shared inspiring insights from leaders, like Board of Director member Gregory Morrison, who spoke about creating opportunities in the workplace, and Northwest VP Randy Wilhite, who shared advice on mobility and progression in the Black community. Their stories emphasize the importance of determination and helping others succeed. At Rollins, we believe that every contribution matters. Each effort fuels innovation and growth in our workplaces and communities, whether seen or unseen. Even though Black History Month is coming to a close, we encourage you to continue recognizing and supporting the diverse talents and stories that shape our future. That’s exactly what’s happening at Rollins, Inc.through the Region Manager Development Program. I helped design this program in 2018. For the past seven years, I’ve had the honor of guiding leaders through it. Last week, 30+ leaders discovered how to build a high-performance organizations. And we’re just getting started. This class has four more sessions this year. Rollins gets it: When one leader grows, their entire team rises. When 30+ leaders level up together, they transform a company.
