Rojas AP is proud to have supported the Lewis Latimer House Museum in preserving the legacy of one of history’s greatest Black inventors and innovators. Our team managed the interior repairs of this landmarked home, ensuring every detail honored the historic integrity of the site. From specifying materials that respected preservation standards to coordinating ADA compliance, our work helped prepare the home for its beautifully reimagined exhibitions. It was an honor to play a part in preserving Lewis H. Latimer’s legacy. ?? ?? Exciting News from Rojas AP! ?? We’re thrilled to announce that Rojas AP is participating in the WEDG (Waterfront Edge Design Guidelines) Professional Course, generously funded by ?rsted. This opportunity is available at no cost for New York State-registered M/WBEs and SDVOBs who reside or work in a New York State-designated Disadvantaged Community (including project work). What is WEDG? WEDG is a national rating system for resilient, ecological, and accessible waterfront design think LEED, but for the waterfront. It’s used by major agencies and developers to guide sustainable waterfront projects. We’re proud that Dasia Jenkins, WEDG is now WEDG-certified! This knowledge will help us deliver innovative, sustainable designs and strengthen our community engagement efforts. We’re excited to apply our new expertise to future projects! Manhattan Project Completion! ????? Rojas AP is thrilled to announce the successful completion of a kitchen renovation project in Manhattan. The project scope included the removal of a partition wall to open up the kitchen to the living space, as well as the replacement of millwork, fixtures, and finishes. Due to the building's location within the West End-Collegiate Historic District Extension, Rojas AP worked with the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) to ensure that the replacement of the kitchen window complied with the building's Landmarks-approved master plan. Our team's dedication and expertise were instrumental in bringing this project to life. We are proud to have created a kitchen design that not only meets the clients functional needs but also elevates the overall aesthetic of their home. #KitchenRenovation #WindowReplacement #Architecture #Planning

Are you on track for Local Law 97 compliance? ??? Local Law 97 (LL97) is part of NYC’s plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, aiming for a 40% reduction by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2050. The law requires most buildings over 25,000 square feet to meet strict emissions limits starting in 2024, with stricter standards set for 2030. The first deadline for Local Law 97 compliance reports is less than 75 days away! Reports showing compliance for the 2024 calendar year must be submitted to the NYC DOB by May 1, 2025. ?? Key Deadlines to Know ? May 1, 2025 – Initial submission deadline ? June 30, 2025 – End of 60-day grace period (no penalties for late filing) ?
