As Kansas City prepares for the 2026 World Cup, FIFA's rigorous standards necessitate upgrades to Arrowhead Stadium.? As many of you may have seen, the stadium recently unveiled their new field lighting.?This is one of the #FIFA improvements and the Rogue Visual Design team is proud to have provided support on this project. ?Our team utilized 3D LiDAR scanning to safely and accurately capture every detail. Unlike traditional methods, our laser scanner records 2 million measurements a second creating a detailed point cloud (a virtual representation) substantially more comprehensive than can be generated by any other method. This rich data set means fewer errors, less need for return visits, and enhanced overall planning. While Rogue does not manage manufacturing, our precise measurements ensure every component fits perfectly within the stadium’s existing structure. The point clouds generated from #LiDAR scans are integrated into CAD models, ensuring precision before any material is cut. This project not only meets FIFA's specifications but also enhances the experience for all future events.
