A game changer in construction layouts! We experienced the extraordinary power of the HP SitePrint at our UpperRoom Church project in Dallas. In just one day, SitePrint laid out 15,000 sqft of wall layouts, wall-type tags, AV receptacles, fire protection hangers and heads, door swings, door tags, and even the hardware schedule. Our VDC Interns got an up-close look at this revolutionary technology and hands-on learning from our HP Partners. Would you use this on one of your projects?

This year’s conference unveiled new ideas reshaping the way we build: AI Agents and Copilot — Imagine a construction site where tasks like scheduling, safety management, and RFIs are handled by AI-powered digital assistants. These tools will be great for workflows — reducing delays, improving accuracy, and giving teams more time to focus on the build. Integrated Resource Management — No more juggling disconnected systems. A unified platform for labor, equipment, and material management promises smarter project planning and greater productivity. This will be important for forecasting and staying on schedule. Collaboration and Connectivity on a New Level — Procore is evolving from a “system of record” to a “system of intelligence.” By bridging teams and tools globally, it’s creating smarter, more connected workflows that drive collaboration — and better outcomes — on every project. From shuttered Sears to a health care hub — Central Health is rewriting history at Austin’s Hancock Center. This project will transform the 196,000-square-foot space into a dynamic medical complex and administrative headquarters. The ground floor will host essential care services, including primary and specialty care, dental, imaging, and pharmacy. Administrative offices for Central Health, CommUnityCare, and Sendero Health Plans will occupy the upper and lower floors, providing a collaborative space to better serve the community. We're proud to help bring much-needed healthcare infrastructure to Travis County residents.

Our 19th project for SMU is complete — the SMU Cox School Of Business is officially open to students! This 220,000 SF transformation designed by GFF includes a comprehensive overhaul of the Joseph M. Wylie Fincer, Trammell Crow, and Cary M. Maguire buildings, alongside a 65,000 SF addition that blends the timeless Georgian character of SMU’s campus with modern influence. Complete with cutting-edge tech, collaborative ‘cluster classrooms,’ and adaptable event spaces, this project enhances the learning experience and sets the stage for the next era of excellence at Southern Methodist University. Marking another milestone in this longstanding partnership, we're honored to play a role in driving future growth at SMU.

Last Friday, we had the incredible honor of marking a major milestone for our company—55 years of innovation, commitment, and teamwork. As a third-generation leader, it’s humbling to reflect on our journey and the amazing legacy that has brought us to this moment. We were thrilled to see such a fantastic turnout for the celebration! Despite a rainy forecast, the weather turned out perfect, setting the stage for a truly memorable event. The energy and camaraderie among everyone who attended made the evening even more special. A highlight of the celebration was the announcement of our first-ever Annual RO Awards Program winners—an exciting new tradition to recognize excellence and dedication within our team. Opening in early 2026, Houston Methodist Comprehensive Care Center in Cinco Ranch will bring high-quality health care to the heart of Fort Bend County. This three-story facility will include imaging, PT/OT, same-day services, lab, orthopedics, specialty care, and primary care. In collaboration with BSA LifeStructures, this marks our fifth and largest project with Houston Methodist. Creating spaces that support healing is an essential part of our mission to build a better Texas — and a meaningful milestone for this community.
