We have some exciting news to share from the Rogers Police Department! Captain Jason Foster graduated from the FBI National Academy this past Thursday. . . On September 12, 2024, 254 law enforcement officers graduated from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, with FBI Director Christopher Wray delivering the keynote. The diverse class included participants from 47 states and 26 countries. This prestigious 10-week program focuses on communication, leadership, and fitness, with graduates averaging 21 years of experience. Since 1935, over 55,440 officers have completed the academy. . . Captain Foster has been with the Rogers Police Department since January 2002 and became our first police sergeant in 2004. During Jason's tenure, he has held various roles, including Police Sergeant and interim Chief of Police, earning respect for his compassionate policing and leadership. Currently, he oversees the Services Division as one of two police captains. Captain Foster represented our city at the FBI Academy, joining just 1% of law enforcement leaders chosen for this prestigious program. Chief Dan Wills was honored to be present for Captain Foster’s graduation, and is a graduate of the 262nd session of the National Academy. Congratulations Captain Foster!
