Thank you, Rebecca, for sharing your story! ?? "I cannot say enough good things from my time at the San Diego location. I came into the program severely depressed and extremely anxious, and honestly didn’t have high expectations as I’ve been to treatment centers in the past. For PHP, I was in the Primary Behavioral Health track and the main focus was on my depression. I have always been more on the shy side, but with time I just felt comfortable and I really started putting in the work. Following PHP, I transitioned into the OCD and Anxiety IOP. This part was a game changer for me. In the past, most providers did not take my anxiety seriously and I was never able to address it. Doing all the exposures and finding what my core fears were changed everything for me. For the first time, I was able to do things I never thought I would ever achieve. I have been out of treatment for about four months now, and I honestly am doing the best I have ever done following treatment. I have confidence for the first time and I am able to do things by myself without crippling anxiety. Before treatment, I was severely depressed, suicidal, and hopeless, but by the end of treatment and currently, I am thriving and wanting to push myself to continue growing as a person."
