Rocky Mountain Power and Utah Power Credit Union were honored to host a flag-raising ceremony and blood drive at our North Temple Office in recognition of National Veterans and Military Families Month. The event brought our community together to honor veterans’ sacrifices and support lifesaving efforts. Thank you to everyone who participated and made this event possible!

The Signal Hill Water Treatment Plant is now powered by Utah’s first floating solar array, developed with support from Rocky Mountain Power’s Blue Sky program. This innovative project generates over 871,000 kilowatt-hours of clean energy annually, offsetting 92% of the plant's energy consumption and reducing energy costs by 80%, all while significantly cutting carbon emissions.

After responding to power restoration efforts in Georgia, Rocky Mountain Power crews were deployed to Florida to assist Tampa Electric in the aftermath of Hurricane Milton. Rocky Mountain Power is proud to support these efforts, and we extend our gratitude to our dedicated crews!

The Rocky Mountain Power Foundation is proud to support the Davis Education Foundation's TechHERS Junior STEM program with a grant that enables young girls to explore STEM through hands-on learning with reusable drone kits. This initiative aims to inspire the next generation of female leaders in technology, making STEM both fun and accessible.

In response to a mutual assistance request from Georgia Power, Rocky Mountain Power is sending crews, emergency management, support personnel and equipment from Utah, Wyoming and Idaho to aid in power restoration efforts following the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Helene. Rocky Mountain Power was thrilled to participate in the South Davis Preparedness Fair earlier this month! Company representatives brought a miniature model of a distribution system to demonstrate electrical safety. They not only highlighted safe practices around electrical equipment but also discussed wildfire mitigation efforts and provided tips on how customers can prepare for wildfire-related events.
