Future Affordable Housing Communities: Two RMC projects breaking ground soon! RMC's Real Estate team is preparing to break ground on two affordable housing projects. Construction is scheduled for December 2024 on?Gateway Village?in Fort Morgan, CO that will redevelop 96 existing units and create an additional 24 new units of affordable housing. The development team is led by RMC with architect Rosemann & Associates and general contractor Taylor Kohrs. Financing is being provided by US Bank and CHFA. In addition, as early as March 2025, construction will begin on a vacant 2.68 acre site in Denver's Globeville community located at?4995 Washington Street?that will include a new Denver Public Library branch, community retail space, and 170 units of affordable housing. The development team is being led by RMC, Evergreen Real Estate Group, and Globeville Elyria Swansea Coalition Inc. with John Ronan Architects. The general contractor is a joint venture with Milender White Construction and Gilmore Construction.
