Meet our COO, Charles "Diesel" Hartsell: Born in North Carolina but mostly raised in Tennessee, Diesel has been with Rockwood since 2017 and serves as the company’s chief operating officer. Diesel has seen Rockwood grow from two trucks and 22 dumpsters to 20 trucks and 130 dumpsters! He studied Business Management at Fayetteville Tech and is a US Army veteran. Diesel loves working with all the different people who come to Rockwood, whether they are part of his crew or customers. Let us introduce you to some of our Veterans: Jeff Puga - Jeff was a US Army Infantryman from 2009-2013 with one tour to Afghanistan. Charles Hartsell - Charles joined the United States Army in 1985 and did Basic at Fort Jackson, SC. He was an Airborne 31Charlie radio operator assigned to 25th signal Battalion, 35th signal Brigade as RATT Team Chief, and was Honorably discharged in 1988.
