PROJECT PROGRESS Southdale Library Construction is underway for the new Southdale Library. Previously delayed due to covid, the project is now in its early stages of construction. This library is an anchor in the surrounding communities, heavily utilized by many demographics. The new library design features outdoor green space, natural light, and spaces for community programming. The teams ensured that sustainability was at top of mind, utilizing renewable resources including solar and geothermal energy. Along with the renewable energy focus, special attention has been given to the landscaping. The landscaping will include native plants, returning parts of the land back to its native state. TEAM MEMBER FEATURE Meet Munieswar! Munieswar is a dedicated construction professional with a master’s degree in construction management & technology from Arizona State University. He gained hands-on experience in tunnel construction as a Field Engineer at The Boring Company, where he worked on underground infrastructure and project execution. With a strong foundation in cost analysis and construction management, Munieswar is committed to delivering efficient and data-driven solutions.

PROJECT PROGRESS Mississippi River Learning Center The Mississippi River Learning Center is in final design stages, eagerly awaiting construction. The area will span over 25 acers, giving new access to the Mississippi River. The design focus will feature restorative landscaping and engaging cultural and historical features to help educate generations to come. We are proud to be involved in this monumental project! The project is currently in design phases and is expected to be complete with construction design documents in December of 2025.

TEAM MEMBER FEATURE Meet Tulsi Patel! Tulsi is a seasoned cost consultant with over six years of experience in delivering strategic cost management solutions for construction projects worldwide. Her expertise spans construction cost estimating, value engineering, and risk management, ensuring projects stay on budget and on track. She leverages advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) techniques to provide clients with detailed and reliable cost plans at every design stage. Tulsi also excels in business intelligence, utilizing market research and data analysis for benchmarking to optimize project outcomes and deliver exceptional value. Her analytical mindset and dedication to excellence make her an invaluable partner for any construction endeavor.

PROJECT PROGRESS The Lake Superior College Integrated Manufacturing relocation project is in the final stages.? The Manufacturing work force labs are home to welding, machine tool and computer aided courses. LSC received state funding to upgrade and relocate the labs back to their main campus to continue to give their students top-tier education. Rockies Strategies' David LaPree has been serving as the Owner's Representative on this pivotal project. Dave shares that the project is very close to substantial completion; the remodeled portion of the project is ready to be occupied. The area housing the welding lab and CNC machines is ready to have Lake Superior College move in the last of the shop equipment; with teachers and students starting classes very soon.

TEAM MEMBER FEATURE Meet Aditya Kuware! Aditya is a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. Known for their adaptability and commitment to excellence, they thrive in collaborative environments, bringing a proactive approach to every challenge. He holds a Master’s in Construction Management from the University of Texas at Arlington. During their studies and in their previous role at a civil engineering firm, they gained valuable experience in cost estimation, project scheduling, and geotechnical analysis, contributing to the success of various projects in the construction industry.

PROJECT PROGRESS Our Owner's Representative David LaPree has been hard at work at the Mohican Family Center Renovation in Bowler, WI! "The new addition phase of the project is in the finishing stages, ceilings are nearly complete and flooring is scheduled to begin this month. Pool, hot tub, sauna, and weightlifting room finishes will take place in the next several months. New weightlifting equipment will start to arrive in spring. The remodeling phase of the building will start in early March, carrying over to mid-summer. Work will include upgrading the gymnasium, adding community meeting rooms, a new kitchen, a fitness/cardio room, and?general gathering spaces."

With over 26 years of experience in the industry and having worked in both public and private sectors including Higher Education, Industrial, Medical, Historical Renovation, and Multi-family, clients leverage his expertise in delivering a successful outcome on their projects. PROJECT SPOTLIGHT Ella Besaw Care Facility The Ella Besaw facility provides a warm and welcoming environment designed to feel as home-like as possible. The newly constructed elderly care facility has expanded to 24 units, including 2 hospice rooms. Rockwise served as the Owner’s Representative for this project, working with the Stockbridge-Munsee Community. The project spans 19,541 square feet and includes two double-occupancy rooms. The facility features a spacious covered main entry with in-ground heating for added comfort. Additionally, the walls have been reinforced to function as a tornado shelter, providing extra safety for residents.
